How to delete your NoDue account and what happens to your data

Delete From Inside the App (Recommended)

Open NoDue → Account → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm and sign in again. Deletion is immediate once you confirm.

Before You Delete

Settle any outstanding balances with friends or groups first. NoDue will not let you delete your account while you have unsettled expenses — this protects people you owe or who owe you. If you can't settle a balance because the other person is unreachable, email info@nodue.life and we'll help you resolve it.

If You Can't Access the App

Email info@nodue.life from the email address linked to your account. Include your registered email, phone number (if any), and a short note confirming you want the account deleted. We'll verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 business days. If you signed in with Google or Apple, mention which so we can match the right account.

What Gets Deleted

Your name, email, phone number, profile photo, login credentials, refresh tokens, push notification tokens, social sign-in links, bug reports, expense comments, OTP records, and login history are all permanently removed. Receipts and any uploaded images are deleted from our storage. Your user row is tombstoned — sign-in attempts after deletion will fail.

What We Keep (Anonymized)

Shared expenses, debts, and settlements that involve other users stay in our system but are stripped of your identifying information — your entries will show as "Deleted User" to the people you shared them with. This is so your counterparties don't suddenly see missing balances or corrupted history. Payment records required for tax and regulatory compliance are kept for the period required by law, also in anonymized form.

Subscriptions

If you have an active NoDue.Living subscription, it is cancelled at the moment of deletion. You will not be billed again. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for the current billing period, but you keep access until the end of the already-paid term is moot since the account is deleted — see our Refund Policy for edge cases.

Timeline

In-app deletion is immediate. Email-based deletion is processed within 7 business days of us verifying your identity. Once deleted, personal data cannot be recovered. If you change your mind, you can sign up again with the same email — a fresh, empty account.
